Ways of booting damaged operating system

Fix the damaged `Boot.ini’ File

Windows starts to load the program `Ntldr’ which directs `Boot.ini’ file about the direction of operating system files. We also can know which option should be enabled so that operating system can be started. So if any problems in `Boot.ini’ file is built permanently, the windows cannot be booted perfectly .

If you think your booting files are damaged and only for this reason you are not able to boot operating system in that case you should use special type of recovery console. I prefer `Bootcfg’ tool

Firstly you must boot system from windows Xp CD. Then use the `Bootcfg’ tool. T bt from the Cd just follow the steps

  • Firstly put the XP Cd in the cd rom and press ctrl+Alt+del.
